David E. "Dick" Moore 77 Echo died last Wednesday of Cancer in the Summit County Hospital after a lingering illness.
He was born August 23, 1882 at Castle Rock, Summit County to David and Mary Rees Moore.
Married Pearl Powell December 6, 1906, Upton, She died July 16, 1928. He married Stella Wickel Montgomery, March 24, 1937, Coalville.
Retired rancher in Upton area. Member of the LDS Church.

His funeral was Saturday in the Summit LDS Stake House Coalville and he was buried in the Coalville City Cemetery.
The funeral was conducted by Bishop John Carmen of the Echo Ward. The prayer at the mortuary was Wilbur Powell, Arlene Patterson played the prelude and postlude music.
The prayer was offered by Bishop Vern Boyer of Upton Ward. Margaret Gunn and Iris Sowell sang a duet accompanied by Karen Mikkelsen. The Obituary and remarks were given by J. Emerson Staples and the sermon was given by M. Larkin Patterson, Marvella Geary sang a solo accompanied by Arlene Patterson.
Dedication of the grave was by Acel Hales, Pallbearers were Arvil Smith, Sheldon Moore, Cale Bevan, Gearld Eldredge, Robert Zumbrunnen and Vern Moore. Flower girls were granddaugthers and were directed by Mrs. Lois Carman.
