Issue of November 18, 1904
Jesse Q. Lawson and Elizabeth Moore were married Wednesday evening at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. David Moore, at Castle Rock, the ceremony being performed by the father of the bride. About 100 people were present, a wedding supper was served and a pleasant evening spent.

Last Saturday
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Elizabeth Mary Moore Lawson, 79, Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Roosevelt Second LDS Ward. Mrs. Lawson died Thursday in Salt Lake hospital of causes incident to age.
She was born March 23, 1885 in Castle Rock, Summit County, to David E. and Mary Rees Moore.
SHE MARRIED Jesse Q. Lawson Nov. 16, 1904 in Coalville. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He died in June 1951.
Survivors include five daughters, six sons, Quivington, Roosevelt; Mrs. Iona Worthen, Woorow, and Mrs. Charles, (Gwen) Sweat, all of Salt Lake City; Everett, Birigham City; Mrs. Freeman (Laura) Dye, Neola; Mrs. George (Cathryn) Yack, Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Verl (Wanda) Nelson, Tremonton; Douglas, Vernal; Ferris, Magna; Max J., Chillicothe, Ohio; 34 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Moore, Coalville and a sister, Mrs. Maggie Twombly, Yerrington, Nev.
Funeral services were conducted by Bishop Daniel Dennis, who also gave a short history of Mrs. Lawson. Prayer at the mortuary was given by Larry Dye.
Stake President Paul Murphy gave the invocation.
Dr. R. V. Larson and W. K. Dye were speakers.
Double duets, "Beyond the Sunset" and "Going Home", were sung by Mrs. Wenzel Luke, Mrs. Floyd Peterson, Mrs. Neal Schaefermeyer and Mrs. Daniel Dennis.
Mrs. John Fausett sang "That Wonderful Mother of Mine." J. Dorrant Freston gave the benediction.
Mrs. R. V. Larson played the prelude and postlude organ music. Freeman Dye dedicated the grave and burial was in the Roosevelt Cemetery.
Out-of-town visiters were Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Sweat, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wray, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Dolar, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Ashe, Mr. And Mrs. Fred Schmitt, Mr. And Mrs. Delbert Park, and Mrs. Cal Trujillo all of Salt Lake City; Thomas L. Moore, Veron Moore, and Mrs. Rhea Banngel of Coalville; Mr. And Mrs. Goodwin Dalor and Mrs. Iola Swenson, Bountiful; Mr. And Mrs. Howard Cowan, Duchesne; Mrs. Edith Burton, Talmage; Mr. And Mrs. Norman Dye, Durango, Colo.; Mr. And Mrs. Bill Dye, Farmington, N. M.; Mr. And Mrs. Douglas Campbell, Susanville, Calif.; Mrs. Michael Dixon, Texas; Mrs. Max Wolfe, and Mr. And Mrs. Richard Dye, Brigham City; all of Mrs. Lawson's sons and daughters were attending the funeral except Max of Ohio, who was unable to come.
