Her parents, Stanley and Mary (nee Majewski) Furgal were both Polish immigrants.
She grew up on Detroit's Westside and graduated from Chadsey High School.
After high school she worked in the downtown offices of SS Kresge.
Later she handled bookkeeping for the family real estate business.
For 52 years, Anna was the dear wife of the late Zenon John Kolasa.
She was also the dear mother of Diane (Michael) Zucker of South Lake Tahoe, CA, Robert (Eileen) Kolasa of Lake Forest, IL and Laura (William) Ridella of Detroit, Michigan.
She was the beloved grandmother of Kelsey, Thomas, Carter, Carolyn, Christina and George. Loving sister of Helen (Al) Mlynarczyk, the late Jean (John) Zrembski and Matty Furgal.
Dear sister in law of Halina (the late Julius) Lewandowski and Laura (the late Mitchell) Malicki.
Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
