BEIDELMAN, Benjamin Leonard was born August 7, 1842 in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana the son of William James Beidelman Sr. and Eliza Butz. He married Sarah E. Mull January 26, 1865 and they were the parents of ten children, Hettie A. (John Wesley Lutz), Alvin Herbert Sr., Zora E. (Wilson C. Bomberger), Bertha May, Stella V. (Albert D. Kinsey), Willabelle, Clarence Leonard, Mabel, Nellie and Gideon Edward. He was one of the leading mason contractors in Naperville, building many of the beautiful homes here. He was raised a Master Mason September 17, 1872. He died June 14, 1909 in Naperville, DuPage County, Illinois and was buried in the Naperville Cemetery.
Benjamin Beidelman died Monday night at 12 o'clock after an illness of one week. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon from the house at 1:30, and at the Methodist church at 2:00 o'clock. Mr. Beidelman was well known in business circles as he has been a mason and contractor for a number of years.
