From Scou, suggested edit: Headstone appears to either say 1813 or 1815, but then appears to have a "1" written over the top of the last number. Hale Cemetery inscriptions state died in 1811 as does the information in History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield book. Also, his wife remarried to David Sherwood in 1814 and is listed as the widow of David Burr. Therefore, David Burr definitely died before this time.
