Graveside services for Lessie Mae Mixon will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Houston Atkins officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mixon, 87, of Tucker, Ga., died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at the Dekalb Medical Center in Decatur, Ga. She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church and taught children's Sunday School classes for more than 30 years. She was born in Lauderdale County.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Nunn and her husband, Ray, of Yardley, Penn.; grandchildren, Mary Nunn, Ryan Nunn, Laura Nunn, Christy Nunn all of Yardley; and sister, Earline Johnson of Pascagoula.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonas A. Mixon; her parents, Hunter and Belvah Allen; and her brother, Cecil Allen.
