The Daily Herald, Biloxi, Mississippi - 24 Oct 1959 p. 2 - ADOLPH BRELAND Adolph Breland, 55, a native of Stone County and a resident of Gulfport, Rt. 1, died Friday night about 9 o'clock at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. He was born April 23, 1904. Mr. Breland was a retired filling station operator. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rozelyer Breland, one daughter, Mrs. Ona May Shavers, Gulfport; three grandchildren, and two step-brothers, William C. Bond and Rudolph Bond, Gulfport. The body will be taken from Riemann's Funeral home this afternoon at 3 o'clock to the family residence. The funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. E. L. Strickland, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Allen Cemetery.
