Eva Rozella "Zella" Dinger was born near Dora in Ringgold Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.

She was the daughter of Elias Dinger and Eve Shoffner.

She married Niles London Caylor on 8 Jul 1902 in PA. They had three sons: Maurice Leon, Thodore and Elmer Bernard.

Zella died at her home in Ringgold, PA and was buried 29 Aug 1941.

Mrs. Niles Caylor Dies in Ringgold

Esteemed Resident of Nearby Community Succumbs After Illness of 20 Months.

Mrs. Zella Caylor, the wife of Niles Caylor, of Ringgold, and a daughter of the late Elias Dinger, died in her home this morning at 3 o'clock after an illness of about 20 months, age 60 years.

The deceased who had lived in the section in which she died practically all her entire life, was held in exceptional esteem there. She was a member of the Evangelical Church at Dora and active in the work of that congregation until illness prevented. An exceptional mother, wife and neighbor, her death is sincerely mourned.

She was born May 21, 1881, in this county, the daughter of Elias and Eve Shoffner Dinger. On July 8, 1902, she was united in marriage to Niles Caylor, who with three sons, survives her. The sons are Maurice, Theodore and Elmer, all of Detroit, Mich. She also leaves four brothers: Harry, William, Roy and Lawrence, all of Dora, and six sisters: Mrs. James Young, of Ringgold,; Mrs. Elmer Snyder of Timblin; Mrs. Sherman Barnhart, of Timblin; Mrs. Mal Burkett, of Markton; Mrs. Pearl Christy, of Butler, and Mrs. Bertha Miller, of Greenville. Two grandchildren also survive her.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the church at Ringgold. Rev. Himes and Rev. Shields will officiate and burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery.
