James Clifford "Jim" Barr, 77, of Rig, died June 30, at Grant Memorial Hospital, Petersburg.
Born Jan. 3, 1926, in Hardy County, he was the son of the late Oscar and Mamie (Newhouse) Barr.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth "Sis" (Bensenhaver) Barr; one son, Rodney Barr of Fisher; two daughters, Julie Shobe and Jeanne Workman, both of Fisher; one brother, Robert Burns Barr of Rig; two sisters, Gladys Hardy of Fisher and Vera Sherman of Arthur; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were July 3, at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield, with interment in the Newhouse Cemetery at Rig. (7/8)
