Harold E. Meiley
Funeral services for Harold E. Meiley, 55, 630 E. Highland Ave., Naperville, were held Wednesday afternoon at the First EUB Church. The Rev. Paul Washburn officiated and interment was in Naperville Cemetery.
A Naperville businessman in real estate and insurance, Mr. Meiley was Past Master of Euclid Lodge No. 65, A.F. & A.M., Euclid Chapter No. 13, secretary to the board of examiners, Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M., Aurora Commandery No. 22 Knights Templar, Medinah Temple, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Althea Chapter No. 206 O.E.S., and Loyal Order of the Moose No. 1290.
Surviving are his wife Janet; two daughters, Judy Swallow and Claudia Meiley; two sons, Emery and Charles; two grandchildren; his mother Mrs. Laura Meiley; and sister, Mildred Norpell of Downers Grove.

Harold Meiley Dies Suddenly On Saturday
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Evangelical United Brethren church for Harold E. Meiley of 630 Highland avenue, who died suddenly on Saturday in Morris, Illinois, while en route from a trip in connection with Masonic Lodge activities.
Mr. Meiley, who was 55 years old, was a Past Master of the Euclid Lodge 65, A.F. & A.M. in Naperville. He was also a member of the board of Grand Examiners of the Grand Lodge of Illinois, a past District Deputy Grand Master of the 31st district, past president of Grand Lecturer association of Chicago, and the instructor of the Scottish Rite degree team.
Born in Naperville, he was an insurance and real estate broker, maintaining offices on south Main street.
Surviving are his wife, Janet; two sons, Emery and Charles; two daughters, Mrs. Judy Swallow and Claudia; two grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Emery Meiley; and a sister.
Interment was in Naperville cemetery.
