Helen Worden, 86, of Wenatchee passed away Friday, December 31, 2004. She was born June 30, 1918, at her grandparent's home near Dryden, to Emanuel Reiman and Lydia (Schorzman) Reiman. She was raised and educated in Dryden, marrying David Kenneth Worden December 10, 1939. She was a homemaker and worked several years packing and sorting apples. She volunteered with Camp Fire, Blue Birds through Horizon Club, Rainbow Moms, Eastmont High School Band Parents Club, Crippled Children Clinic and Homemaker's Club.
She and her husband managed the Tall Timber Church Camp for 4 years, she was a Wedding Coordinator for Eastmont Presbyterian Church for 8 years and a youth leader and yard keeper at the church for several years. Her hobbies were ceramics, oil painting and sewing, she loved gardening and drives in the mountains. She is survived by her husband, David Kenneth; a son, Keith Worden of Soap Lake, daughters, Sandi (Roy) Dodd of Soap Lake, Judie (David) Orange of East Wenatchee, Pam Worden of Wenatchee; sister, Jeanette Fread of Soap Lake; brother, Marvin (Lovene) Reiman of East Wenatchee; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 7, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Eastmont Presbyterian Church, 200 S. Kentucky, East Wenatchee with a luncheon to follow at the church.
