Funeral services for Lula Williams, 64, of A-K Trailer Court Space 22, Rock Springs were held Saturday, May 16 at the Vase Funeral Chapel with Bishop Kevin Rarick of the LDS Church officiating.
Burial was in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Roger Pulley Jr., Paul Gonzales, Ed Williams, Jay Williams and Jerry Williams.
Mrs. Williams died at 9:07 p.m. Wednesday, May 13 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County shortly after being admitted.
A long-time resident of Rock Springs, Mrs. Williams died following a lengthy illness. She was born in Sugar City, Idaho on Nov. 5, 1916, the daughter of the late Silas H. and Emmaline Wardle.
She attended schools in Rock Springs and married Harold S. Williams in Rock Springs in 1931. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include her husband, Harold, two sons, Harold L. Williams and Rev. Ernest R. Williams, all of Rock Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mable) Link of Rawlins and Mrs. Bryan (Lula Mae) Cassidy of Montana; two brothers, LeGrande Wardle of Sandy, Utah and Sheldon Wardle of St. Anthony, Idaho; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
