I am still working with our papers and did find James Potter's Will dated 1912 in which he states that he is 79 years old. He bequeathed all his goods (really weren't any) to his niece Jennie Ruhama Wright Farnsworth. 79 years old makes his birthdate 1833 and I know that they were all born in Pa. Still working on this. Thought I had his discharge documents from the Civil War, but it is actually his brother William's papers that I have.
He died in an Old Soldier's Home in Danville, Illinois,
