Donald L. McClenahan, 87, of Cohoes, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2008 at the Eddy-Ford Nursing Home. Born in Ogden, Utah on July 29, 1920, he was the devoted husband to the late Florence B. (Main) McClenahan. Formerly from Brewster, Mass., Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Schenectady, N. Y., Mr. McClenahan was a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. with a B. S. in electrical engineering, received his commission and served aboard the USS Marblehead in World War II. Don was a past master of the Christopher Yates Lodge F & AM and member of Cyprus Shriners AAONMS of Albany, N. Y. Universal Lodge AF & AM, Orleans Mass. and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Schenectady. After the war, Don worked for Sperry Gyroscope, General Electric, Schenectady International and as senior research associate with the department of atmospheric sciences at the state University of New York at Albany. He was a long time communicant and served on the vestry at St. George's Episcopal Church in Schenectady. Don was a champion marksman and enjoyed golf, boating and the outdoors. He served many years on the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary while living in Cape Cod, Mass and Tarpon Springs.

and Michelle I. Worthington of Ware, Mass.
