Mary Lynn McFadden, age 65, of Pensacola, Florida, was called to the Lord on April 8, 2009.
Mary was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida.
She graduated from Tate High School Class of 1961. After high school she worked at Escambia County courthouse for 6 years, during this time Mary met and married the love of her life Joseph James McFadden with whom she traveled to different military bases across the country and in Europe. She was a past member of Ensley Alliance Church, and a member of the Women's Auxiliary American Legion. She loved to play Bingo with her mother and friends and she loved summertime fish fry's with her family and friends.
Mary had a positive influence on everyone who was fortunate enough to know her and be a part of her life and she believed in the good in everyone. She was a caring and loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother who loved her family with all of her heart. Mary will be dearly missed by all of those who knew her!
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, B. A. and Olene Lynn; brothers Robert Edward "Bobby" Lynn, and Butch Lynn; and her beloved husband Joseph James McFadden.
She is survived by her loving daughter Sherry Lynn Mercier, son-in-law Robert Lee Mercier, granddaughter Brittany Lane't Mercier, brothers Frank Thomas Lynn (wife Rena), Cecil Lamar Lynn, Sr. (wife Elizabeth), Ronnie Calvin Lynn; and adopted daughter Christy Lynn Townley.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 15, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, with Pastor Thomas Hicks presiding.
Burial will follow in Bayview Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Derek Lynn, Butch Lynn, Lamar Lynn Jr., David Lynn, David Hicks, and Anthony Mercier. Honorary pallbearer will be Bryan Harrison.
