Peter Bachman was born in Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, January 22, 1780. His parentage is uncertain. Some county histories say that he was the son of David Bachman and Elizabeth Weaver, but I'm not so sure. He married Maria Magdalena Weaver/Weber on April 5, 1812 in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Peter died in Lower Saucon Township on July 24, 1842.

Leith, all of Lower Saucon Township, filed in Northampton County Courthouse on August 15, 1842, file #5135. Magdalena (Weaver) Bachman, widow of Peter Bachman, renounced her rights to administer the estate on the same date.
