Electra, Texas Oct 12--- Funeral services were held at the East Side hotel at 3 o'clock Thursday for Mrs Katherine Staley, 51, who died early Thursday following a lingering illness. The Rev. Clark Russell officiated and burial was in Electra Cemetery.
She was a native of Tennessee, but has lived in Wichita county most of her life.
Survivors are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Powell of Electra; five brothers, Ernest of Tulia, Will of Bisbee, Ariz; Charlie of Borger; John and Earl Powell of Electra; a son David Arnold Staley; four sisters, Mesdames, Hulah Inselman of Ontario, Calif; Clara Robinson of Rankins, Okla.; Lena Beatty of Lubbock; and J.R. Moss of Electra, owner of East Side hotel with whom she made her home.
