George Cloud, age 78, of Coldspring, TX passed away Friday, January 20, 2006.
He was born May 27, 1927 in Huntington, TX to John Worth and Josie Herrington Cloud. He served in the U.S. Navy and upon discharge, became a pilot with the Texas Forest Service. In 1958 he joined TransTexas Airways. Upon retirement, he and his wife, Jacque sailed the seas by sailboat, toured the U.S. and Canada by motorhome and traveled the world by plane.
Graveside services were Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, Houston, TX with Pastor Ron Ellis officiating.
Survivors include: his wife of 37 years, Jacque; one daughter; one son; one sister; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.
