Ray Moake, Jr. was born on May 13, 1928 in West Frankfurt, Illinois. He passed away early Friday morning, April 17, 2009.
Ray resided in Colorado Springs for over fifty years.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Francis; sisters, Naomi and Lodean, and brothers, John and Harold.
His surviving relatives are his sister, Frances; sons, David, Miles, Greg, and John; daughters-in-law, Marguerite, Tracy, and Wendy, and grandchildren, Tonya, Dylan, and Heather.
In life he was dedicated to his family and generous to his friends. Ray was a skilled meat-cutter, entrepreneur and a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner. He will truly be missed by many.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, April 20, 2009 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at the Shrine of Remembrance.
