Ramona died after a short battle with cancer. She was a daughter of Ezra K. and Pearl Adell Jorgensen Jensen and enjoyed a happy childhood growing up in Sterling, Utah. She married Franklin Gus Erickson on July 4, 1957 and was sealed to him in the Manti LDS Temple on July 2, 1963. Ramona served her church in many capacities from Primary teacher to women's sports referee. She worked very hard as a housewife and raised five boys. She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and working in her yard and garden. She was survived by five sons: Franklin Lloyd (James Bennett), Danny K. (Pam Camper), Johnny Lee (Lynn Elliot), Clay Travis (Jodie), and Joseph Cory (Brooke); 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and two adopted kids: Jill and David. She was also survived by two brothers and three sisters: James Jensen (Rhonda), Joe Jensen (Michelle), Esther Anderson, LaVee Kawakami (Paul), and Colleen Allred (Joseph). She was preceded in death by her parents and her hushand, Franklin Gus Erickson.
