Mattie S. Martin, 84, died August 11, 2001 at Northport Medical Center. Services will be held at Sunset Chapel on Wednesday, August 15 at 4 p.m. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Martin; daughter, Glenda Martin Reed.
Survivors include her daughters, Janelle Gray, Northport, Joanne Martin, Tuscaloosa; sisters, Cora Lee Whatley, Double Springs, Ala., Kate Dailey, Centreville, Ala.; brother, James J. Peak, Jr., Double Springs, Ala., grandchildren, Susan Rainy, Mike Gray, Tyler Reed, Coy Reed; great grandchildren, Deanna, Sandy, Austin Rainy.
