Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Benson Peake, 83, who died Friday at the Glen Haven Nursing Home, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Pleasant Hill Church No. 2 at Double Springs with burial in the church cemetery by Spigener - Brown Service.
Surviving are three daughters Mrs. Cora Lee Whatley of Brent, Mrs. Mattie Sue Martin of Northport and Mrs. Katie Dail ey of Centreville; five sons, Virgil Peake of Brent, Clyde Peake of Wetumpka, Major Peake of Green Pond, Henry Peake of Northport, and James Peake of Double Springs; a sister, Mrs. Ada Peake of Double Springs and a brother, Henry Benson of Praco. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The body will lie In state at the home of Clyde Peake In
Double Springs from 2 p.m. to day until funeral time.
