Robert R. Horn, 71, passed away Monday, November 24, 2003, in Aurora.


Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 26, at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in Aurora. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice in his memory.


Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 28, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel in Aurora. Burial will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.


Robert Roy Horn was born July 15, 1932, in Crete, Nebraska, the son of Louis and Gladys (DePoyster) Horn. He graduated from Crete High School in 1950. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He married Beverly. They later moved to Aurora, Colorado.


Surviving are his wife, Beverly; two daughters, Gwendolyn (Douglas) Ginley of Aurora and Carol (John) Baer of Colorado Springs; five grandchildren, Kyle, Troy, Kailey, Kenzie and Joseph; and one brother, Donald Horn.


He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother in infancy.
