Died in this town, Saturday, 14th inst, William Kelley aged 59 years. Many expression of regret are in town for William Kelley of whom it may truthfully be said he had no enemies in the community and that he never was known to speak ill of any man. He was born in this town and was employed for many years as foreman by French and Ward. He was for years a member of the Stoughton Fire Department and was for a number of years Fire engineer having been in charge of the West Stoughton Department. Of late years, he has been in the employ of Southworth's Grain Mill. He was a faithful friend, with a pleasant genial disposition and one how made friends and kept them. A wife and seven children are left to mourn his loss. His funeral Wednesday was largely attended, the firemen going in a body. Wet eyes and expressions, "He was a good man" showed the place he held the hearts of those he left.

He has gone to his reward and will be remembered with regret by many.
