She married Elmer Joseph Scanlon, a WWII veteran, on June 11, 1941, in Carson City, NV.
She died June 18,1960, at St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco following abdominal surgery. A nephew (Harold Missamore) arranged her funeral at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church. Her last residence was 825 Santiago Street, San Francisco, CA. She is buried at Golden Gate National Cemetery adjacent to husband (Elmer).
