The Rev. John A. Kendall of near Pine Grove, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday following an extended illiness.

He was born in Wetzel County, June 15, 1882 a son of Jeremiah and Melinda Jane Hayes Kendall.

Surviving are four sons, Glenn Kendall of Mercersburg. Pa., Jerry Kendall of Rainier, Md., Norman and Orville Kendall, both or Grafton, Ohio four daughters, Mrs. Flossie Church, Elkview, Mrs. Audra Goodrich of Ravenna, Ohio, Mrs. Jessie Clark of Streetsbourough, Ohio, and Mrs. Betrice Mayfield of Pine Grove; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Mr. Kendall was a member of the Church of God.
