WHITEWATER — Lawrence Larry Junior Ketterman, 83, of Whitewater, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, at his home. Larry was born on Aug. 2, 1924, son of Luther and Rose Ketterman in Dry Fork, West Virginia.

He married Elizabeth Garnett Morris in Elkton, Maryland, on Dec. 20, 1947. He worked for Sturgis Newport Business Forms for 42 years, moving to Whitewater in 1957.

Larry served his country for three years during World War II in the U.S. Navy, and was sent to the Pacific Theatre for duty. He was a member of the Whitewater Lions Club, Disabled American Vets, and the American Legion Post #173. He was also an outstanding member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Whitewater.

Larry is survived by his wife, Betty; 4 sons: Larry (Barb) of Fort Atkinson, Dennis (Joan) of Sheboygan, Keith (Mary) of Pewaukee and Kevin (Sharee) of Elkhorn; daughter, Theresa Stewart of Whitewater; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 at the NITARDY FUNERAL HOME in Whitewater, with Father Rafael Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
