age 60, wife of James "Biggen" Dees died Tuesday Feb. 3, 2009 at the St. Joseph Berea Hospital. Doris was a homemaker and attended the Clear Creek Baptist Church and Gloryland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Nina Clouse Junkins, and a daughter Charlotte Dees Croucher.
Doris is survived by her children; Billy Ray Phelps, Ronald J Phelps, James Dees Jr, Sheila Pigg, Sherri Harding, and Tonya Dees Gentry. Brothers and sisters; Brenda (Jim) Williams, Joyce Napier (Charles Abney), Deanie Hensley, Sandy (Ed) Dean, Shirley (James) Dean, and Samuel Dwayne (Angie) Junkins, 16 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday Feb. 7, 2009 at 11:00 am at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Harding officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6-9 pm at Lakes Funeral Home.
