Absalom was born about 1807 in Georgia. He married two times. 1) Sopfronia Loftin 1818- bet 1851-1860; 2) Elizabeth "Eliza" Payne 1825-1896

Absalom and Sophronia children: Sarah, Jane, Joseph, Rysan, Daniel F, William J, Benjamin, Elijah, Jefferson, Elizabeth, James and Absalom.

Absalom and Eliza children: John J, Benjamin, Franconia, Susan and Elijah.

Absalom's sister Fransey is in this cemetery also; she and a nephew Henry were living with him in 1880 census. Some of his children moved from Dale County, Alabama to Clarke County, Alabama.
