Thursday, July 5, 1945-Observe Golden Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Chubb, 809 W. First st., Fulton, were recent guests at an anniversary dinner at Tubberts in Syracuse, given by members of the immediate family, in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married in Fulton June 26, 1895, and have been lifelong residents of that community, residing in the same residence since their marriage. Mrs. Chubb was the form Miss Ella Holtz, of Fulton. Mr. Chubb has been an employee of the American Woolen Company for the last 57 years and still enjoys excellent health. Besides working at the woolen mill each day he enjoys working on his victory garden. The couple have two daughters, Mrs. Florence Hayes, 110 Westwood av., Syracuse, and Mrs. Marion Catan, Fulton.
