Martin Haas was the youngest sibling of Peter. Their father was Jacob Haas. For many years the family did not know Martin's whereabouts. But he is my great grandfather. I have write an extensive book and genealogy of his wife's lineage and have included a lot of information about Martin. I visited their home village of Steinborn (Daun) Germany in the Eifel region. The digital book (The Mullaney Story) is available throught the Waseca County, Minnesota, Historical Society in Waseca MN.

Johann Peter, known as Peter Haas, was the first of 6 children born to Jakob Haas and his 2nd wife, Anna Maria Schendt. Jakob's first wife Gertrud Jungels had 2 children. Barbara and Maria Eva who married Anton Raetz, came to America and settled in Racine WI. It is thought that Maria Eva brought her younger half brother Martin (1845-1924)with her, since his parents were both dead at the time. Martin is on F.A.G. #71096324. While both living, the families stayed in touch with one another. Martin's history is a part of a book in the Waseca County Historical Society, Waseca MN called "The Mullaney Story" by Millicent Adams Dosh, a great granddaughter of Martin Haas
