She came to the Globe-Miami area in 1910, and taught school here from 1910 to 1939. She was also a member of the Miami Women's Club of Globe. She was survived by her sister, Mrs. Dixie Keelar of Patton, Calif. (Arizona Silver Belt, June 30, 1960, page 3; courtesy Bullion Plaza Cultural Center & Museum, Miami, Az.)
