Lowell Mines February 1, 1937 in Murray, Utah.
Elsie was a member of the LDS Church and served in various callings including Ward Relief Society President.
She was also President of Murray City Firemen's and Policemen's Auxiliaries.
She and her husband traveled extensively with the Good Sam Club where they made many wonderful friends. She had a comforting spirit and served as a compassionate service leader for many years. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Dora (Larry)Froisland, Toby (Jan) Mines, Sally (Jerry) Madsen, Janette (Dave) Ridges,
Linda (Ray) Jaggi, Grant (Maridean) Mines, her brothers, Parley and Welby Rushton, 31 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Lowell, her brothers and sisters and one granddaughter. Special thanks to IHC Hospice for their loving care of our mother. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 12 noon at Murray 11th Ward, 5750 S. Nena Way (100 W.). Friends may call Monday, May 2, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, and Tuesday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment Murray City Cemetery.
