Georg Hollinger, octogenarion and pioneer, passed away at his home in Hebron Saturday evening. Death suddenly and unexpectedlly while the deceased was sitting at the supper table. Having lived on the same farm for sixty-nine years. Hollinger was one of the oldest resident of this part of the country. A remarkable fact during this entire time occupying the same dwelling in which he died. He was born in Knox County, Ohio Nov. 20, 1820 and at the age of twenty-six came to Wisconsin to seek his fortune in a new and wild frontier country. On Nov. 24, 1858 he married Amy J. Brown who died April 9, 1861, leaving three children, Edward who died September 16, 1897, Maggie, Mrs. Halsey Wintermute of Hebron, and Frank of this city. In 1870 he married Hannah Evans and to them were born eight children, George, who died February 23rd, 1902, Luella, who died May 20th, 1908, John of Hebron, Adele, Mrs. Deuster of Pewaukee, Milton of Hebron, Leonard and Pearl, Mrs. Chas. Dunlap of Milwaukee abd Lyman of this city. Besides his wife and children Mr. Hollinger is survived by an aged brother, Jacob, of Minnesota, and a sister, Maria Eales of Hebron. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock and at the Hebron church at 2 o'clock with interment at the Hebron cemetery.

The aove obituary has some errors. The date of birth is not Nov. 20, 1820 but December 20, 1829. His first wife was not Amy but Emma and she died in 1871 not 1861.
