Mrs. Alice M. Bourke Died in Florida Wednesday Morning

Mrs. Alice McMaster Bourke widow of Ormsby Pinckney Bourke of Columbia and Georgetown, died at the Wesley Manor Methodist Retirement Home in Jacksonville Fla Wednesday morning.

Graveside funeral services were held Saturday morning in the churchyard of Prince George Winyah Episcopal Church. Officiating were the Rev. Alex Mitchell and the Rev. Sam Hay. Burial was directed by the Mayer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bourke daughter of the late Richard Nott McMaster and the late Mrs. Sarah Agnes Boulware McMaster was born in Winnsboro. She was graduated from the Mt. Zion College in Winnsboro in the Class of 1897 and married to Mr. Bourke on June 1 1910. The Bourkes lived in Georgetown and then in Columbia for many years where Mrs. Bourke was a member of the Rose Hill Presbyterian Church. She had lived at Wesley Manor for four years, and had been ill for most of that time.

Surviving are a number of nephews and nieces.

Mr. Bourke died February 15 1967.
