Eunice H. Folds, 84, of Great Bend, died Jan. 22 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born Oct. 23, 1919, in Stafford County, the daughter of Roy and Lina Nicolet Batman. A lifelong resident of Stafford and Barton counties, she was a school teacher in Stafford and Barton counties and a past Barton County superintendent of schools. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and American Association of University Women.

Survivors include two sons, Joel K. Folds of Wichita and Paul Folds of Trilby, Fla.; one daughter, Cynthia Collier of Ellinwood; one brother, Oliver Batman of Great Bend; one sister, Phyllis Griffin of Sublette; 10 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Beatrice Lindberg.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Dr. Gordon E. Rhodes. Burial will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, all at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend, and from 1 p.m. to service time at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the church, in care of the funeral home.
