A homemaker, a member of Grundy Street Church of Christ and the Coffee County Farm Bureau, she was the daughter of the late Shelah and Thursa Todd Witty; and was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bailey Ragan Jr. in 1990.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Carl Bailey and Deborah Ragan III of Chesterfield, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Lura Virginia and Milton Davis of Tullahoma; brother, Carl Dean Witty of Athens, Ala.; sisters and brother-in-law, Maggie and Garry Colley of McMinnville and Emma Pearl Arnold of Nashville; grandchildren, Jason Ragan of Kansas City, Mo., James Ragan of Decatur, Ala., and Elisabeth Ragan of Chesterfield, Christopher Davis of Manchester and Patrick Davis of Tullahoma; and one great-grandchild, William Henry Davis of Manchester.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Daves-Culbertson Chapel in Tullahoma with Dean Witty officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hands on Science Center.
