Mr. Abner Sells Braddy, 76, of 206 W. Gray St., Windsor, died Sunday, May 21, 2006, at Three Rivers Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Edgewood Cemetery, with the Rev. Noah Howard officiating. Mr. Braddy was born in Bath on Dec. 16, 1929. He was the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Alligood Braddy. He was married to Lois Woolard Braddy, who preceded him in death. After retiring from coaching and teaching at Bertie High School, Mr. Braddy became a salesman for Harrington Manufacturing Company in Lewiston. He was a member of St. Thomas Episopal Church in Windsor. He is survived by two sons; Abner S. "Brad" Braddy, Jr. of Winston-Salem and Keith Braddy of Windsor; two sisters; Geneva B. Morgan of Washington and Ona B. Forslund of Aurora, Ill.; and two grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and other times at the home of Keith Braddy, 534 Republican Road, Windsor.
