Zettie Anderson Kautz, 89, of Roanoke, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 4, 2009. Mrs. Kautz was a graduate of Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, N.C. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Lee Withnell; and her husband of 67 years, Warren M. Kautz. She was a member of Faith Alliance Church. For many years she was active in the Child Evangelism Fellowship. Surviving are her daughters, Margaret Shishak and husband, Dr. Tuisem Shishak, of India, Patricia Harris and husband, the Rev. Jon Harris, of Roanoke, and Dr. Elizabeth Koch and husband, John, of Crimora, Va.; grandchildren, Jennifer Harris Roberts and husband, LTC Darren Roberts, Wungram Shishak and wife, Genevieve, Machutmi Shishak and wife, Pauliina, Zingrin Shishak, Abigail Withnell Davis and husband, Jonathan, Esther Withnell, Isaac Withnell, Tyler Koch, Samuel Withnell and Uriah Withnell; greatgrandchildren, Ethan Roberts, Evan Roberts, Siona Shishak and Lilia Shishak; and brother, the Rev. Dwight Anderson and wife, Peggy, of Ann Arbor, Mich. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Patkai Christian College, P.O. Box 72, Buffalo, N.Y. 14231. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2009, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. David Fraser. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2009, in Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesboro, Va., by the Rev. Jon Harris.
