Etta was the daughter of Henry William Ronk (1857-1930) and Francis Susan Brubaker (1856-1948). She married Alva Cecil Adams about 1920. They had one son, James Randolph.
They lived next door to her sister-in-laws Ina Adams Remes and Maurine Adams. Etta, Ina and Maurine were the very best of hospitality and made the best dinner rolls and even served desserts for breakfast!
