Moses William Ronk, born in Virginia, was the son of Henry and Francis Ronk.

Moses became the husband of Ethel McClelland Ronk. They married March 23, 1904, in Logan County, Arkansas where they lived in Chismville. In 1907 he was appointed postmaster for Ratcliff, Logan, Arkansas.

By 1920, Moses and Ethel moved to Fort Smith, in Sebastian County, Arkansas. Moses was a salesman and raised livestock.

Moses later married Jessie Mae Willet Ronk, on February 21, 1939, in Sebastian County, Arkansas.

Jessie died September 15, 1945. Prior to Jessie's death (approximately January 1945), cemetery records note that Mr. and Mrs. Moses Ronk gave to Steep Hill Cemetery a strip of land approximately 200 feet in length and 20 feet wide to be reserved for them and their heirs.

After Jessie's death, Moses married Rachel Audrey Clayton Van Dyne on May 14, 1947, in Sebastian County, Arkansas.

Moses passed January 18, 1958 and is buried next to his wives, Jessie and Rachel, on the land donated as are other relatives.
