Lansdale Man Lived In Borough Many Years; Ill Eight Weeks
WORKED AT FREED'S
Abraham D. Ruth, a mechanic, employed by J.L. Freed and Sons, Lansdale, for twenty-five years, di8ed at the Montgomery Hospital, Norristown, on Thursday morning from the effects of pneumonia.
Mr. Ruth, who resided at 609 Derstine avenue, was ill for eight weeks. Three weeks ago he was removed to the hospital for treatment. He was sixty-six years of age.
Born in Upper Gwynedd, Mr. Ruth, moved to Lansdale when but a very small boy. He has lived in Lansdale since that time. His parents, the late John and Catherine Ruth, were both former residents of Lansdale, having lived here when the town was in its infancy.
Survivors are his widow, Emma D. Ruth, and one daughter, Edna, wife of George Cannon, of Derstine avenue, Lansdale. The funeral will be held on Monday.
