Bushong Gerald, 73, R. 2, Syracuse, died in his home Monday of complications. Born at Syracuse on April 13, 1900, he was the son of Frank and Emma (Miller) Bushong. A farmer and lifetime resident of the Syracuse community, he married Meta Seebawer on June 31, 1922. He was a member of New Paris Missionary Church and a past director of Kosciusko County REMC. Surviving are the widow; three sons, Emerson, Cromwell, Merton, McKinney, Texas, and Ralph, Syracuse; twelve grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Walter (Mary) Wolever of Tippecanoe Lake. Funeral in Harris Funeral Home, Syracuse, today. Burial, Syracuse Cemetery. + 4-?-1974
