Jazz trumpeter and composer. Studied at the Chicago Conservatory from 1956 to 1958 majoring in trumpet and minoring in piano. His published works include Booker Little 4 + Max Roach in 1958, Booker Little Quartet in 1960, Time Out Front in 1961, and Booker Little and Friend (reissued as Victory and Sorrow) recorded a few weeks before his death in 1961.
