Clark Mills. April 27. — The death of George Hale of this place occurred this morning at his home, following an invalidism of nearly two years caused by a fall from a bicycle.
Mr. Hale was 63 years old and was born in Steuben County. He was a Civil War veteran, having seen active service as a member of Co. F, 117th New York Volunteers, throughout the war.
In 1875 Mr. Hale married Alma Myers of Antwerp, Jefferson County.
He is survived by his widow, an adopted son, William Hale of Rome, and three
brothers, John of Fayetteville, Leonard of Rome and Frank of Bartlett and a sister residing in Syracuse. Rome Daily Sentinel, Saturday Evening, April 27, 1912
