He was born in Medina, July 15, 1891, son of George and Alma Myers Hale. A former resident of Clark Mills, he had been employed as a machinist in Syracuse for 19 years.
Hale was a member of the Policemen's Auxiliary, sector 9, in Syracuse.
Two daughters, Miss Lola Hale, Stanwix Heights, and Ida May Hale, survive with several cousins.
Interment will be in Westmoreland Cemetery. Rome Daily Sentinel, Saturday Evening, September 11, 1943
