Addie Arlene Huff was a daughter of Willie Dell Huff and his 1st wife, Epsy Ola Miller. After Epsy's death, Willie Dell moved to Sabine Co., TX to be near his Mother and brothers. There he met and married Bulah B. Wilson Pinner on Jan. 26, 1923. With their combined families they share-cropped until about 1927 when Bulah received word from her father in Newton Co.asking for them to move there. In Newton Co., Arlene married Carl K. Landrum about 1933 and they had sons; James, Tony, Leo, Jerry,and Larry; and daughter Janice (Johnson). Carl Landrum died of cancer in 1986 and Arlene married Clyde Lynch, whos wife had also died. After Clyde died of a sudden heart attach, Arlene met her childhood sweetheart, Leo McBride and they were married. Arlene had a severe stroke and had to enter the Avalon Nursing home in Kirbyville. She remained there for years but was never able to successfully communicate or help herself. Her sons: James, Leo, Tony and Jerry preceeded her in death.
