MRS. MAY STEELE
Mrs. May Steele, 57, 414 North Yakima Avenue, died Friday in a local hospital. She had lived in Tacoma for 35 years and was active in Mary Ball chapter, D.A.R., and the Tacoma Woman's Club. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Doris Trites, Tacoma, son Private Carroll Steele, Lincoln, Nebraska, her mother, Mrs. Hannah Williams, of Twisp; sister, Miss Ruth Williams, of Tacoma and a brother, Bryant Williams, of Twisp. C.C. Mellinger will announce the services.
