St. Clair--Bernetta S. Alleman, 88, of 5895 St. Clair Highway, died of an apparent heart attack Saturday, Nov. 24, 1979, in River District Hospital, East China Township. She was born Nov. 6, 1891, in toledo, Ohio. She married Calvin D. Alleman Feb. 20 , 1912, in St. Clair.
Mrs. Alleman was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair, and was a past member of the Rosary Altar Society.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Earl (Roselyn) Delor, St. Clair, Mrs. Cecil (Hazel) Schrier, Sterling Heights, and Mrs. Albert (Jean) Porter, Marine City; one foster son, Frank Schaller, St. Clair; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Clare Simpson, Yucaipa, Calif.
Services will be held at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday in the Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair Highway Chapel, and at 10 A.M. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair, The Rev. Karl Hubble, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 P.M. Monday in the funeral home.
Randy and Kevin Young, Pat and Mike Delor, Frank Schaller, and Alvoy Depue will be pallbearers.
Visiting will begin at 7 P.M. today in the funeral home.
