Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Grover, who passed away Saturday, were held Tuesday afternoon from the Lebo Baptist church. Interment was in Lincoln cemetery. The Eastern Star conducted services also at the church.
Martha Anne Mott daughter of William B. and Mary A. Mott was born March 8, 1869, in Gardner, Kansas and passed away December 30, (1944), at the home of W.A. Knight (Esther #17132439). She was united in marriage to Nelson Leroy Grover, December 25, 1900, who preceded her in death October 27, 1926.Three daughters and three sons were born to this union. Mrs. W.A. Knight of Lebo, Mrs. C.J. Cowan and Mrs. H. C. Bailey of Topeka. Three sons preceded her in death, Harold, Howard and Nelson Jr.
Mrs. Grover had five brothers and two sisters. Two of the brothers, George Mott of Ottawa and Frank Mott of Kincaid, Kansas are left to mourn her loss. She leaves besides these, five grandchildren and a host of friends.
Mrs. Grover moved to Lebo in 1915 where she had made her home ever since. She was a faithful member of both the Lebo Baptist church and of the Eastern Star. She was baptized in the Antioch Baptist church when thirteen years of age and ever since has been loyal to her Christ and her church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Ann GROVER, 75, who died December 30, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.A. KNIGHT, at Lebo, was held from the Lebo Baptist church Tuesday afternoon, January 2, and burial was made in the Lebo cemetery.
